The Healthcare System in the U.S., as it is today, is broken. It only benefits the well to do and those with financial abilities. If you are without means to pay for healthcare in the U.S. and if for some godforsaken reason you were to become very ill, you will receive substandard care if any. You will be charged an exorbitant amount for the services granted to you that has led many into bankruptcy and/or having to make tough choices like whether or not to feed your kids or pay that medical bill. But how? How is that country is laughable. If you can look me in my eyes and tell me that a person's health is compromised by the mere fact that he/she may not be able to pay then I can look you in your eyes and call you a fool. It's laughable and while I'm not a religious person, many of those who are religious argue against providing for their fellow man when it comes to healthcare. Don't quote me but," Was Jesus not a provider for his fellow man?" In this country there are so many different types of experiences and upbringings. Many grow up and never have to worry a day in their lives about finances. While many more have grown up just the opposite- they have struggled, pinching pennies, and working two and three jobs just to make ends meet. It's the have's and the have nots in this country.
